For example, there is a need to build green open spaces and efficient drainage systems to manage rainwater flow and reduce the risk of flooding in urban areas. Technological advances can also contribute to improving flood preparedness. Early warning systems, risk mapping, and the use of satellite data to predict weather patterns can help communities prepare and reduce losses from flooding. Overall, global flooding due to climate change is a complex issue and requires a multidisciplinary approach. The involvement of government, society and the private sector is very important in anticipating and overcoming the impact of this phenomenon. Collective efforts in mitigating and adapting to climate change must continue to be encouraged to create a safer and more sustainable future.
